Timothy Sherlock is an Australian music educator, choral and handbell conductor and composer.

Timothy conducts the QPAC Choir, the Australian Catholic University Choir (Brisbane campus), the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital Community Choir and the All Hallows’ School Handbell Ensemble. From 2012 – 2015, Timothy was the co-director of the official choir convened by the Australian Government for the Dawn and Lone Pine services in Gallipoli, Turkey. In August of 2016, Timothy represented Australasia in his capacity as massed-ringing conductor at the 17th International Handbell Symposium in Vancouver, Canada.

Timothy has conducted the State Honours Ensemble Program choirs for the Young Conservatorium in Brisbane, Cairns, Rockhampton and Bundaberg. He has presented at music education seminars in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Melbourne, Armidale, Mackay, Townsville and Perth and has adjudicated at many eisteddfodau and competitions, including the Mackay, Gold Coast and Toowoomba Eisteddfodau, Education Queensland Choral Fest, the Queensland Catholic Schools and Colleges Music Festival and the Queensland Youth Music Awards.

Timothy’s self-published choral works are regularly performed by children’s youth and adult choirs, both throughout Australia and internationally.
