ASPIRE Festival Director Yvonne Carr is proud to officially announce the set-pieces for the 2017 July event, having confirmed the selection with ASPIRE International Youth Music Festival Artistic Director, Associate Professor Peter Luff earlier in the week.
Set pieces were carefully selected by ASPIRE adjudicators to provide ensembles a rewarding yet challenging competitive environment as they ultimately vie for a top three place and a performance spot at the gala evening.
Each participating ensemble is allocated a maximum 15 minute performance time in order to perform the set-piece allocated by ASPIRE adjudicators in addition to their own chosen piece. With just under a year to performances start the focus is now all about participation and raising the aspirations of all students who take part.
