Être excite (get excited) …We are delighted to announce an exciting partnership between ASPIRE and Le Festival – Brisbane’s French Festival which will see collaboration between both Festivals from 7-9 July, 2017.
Le Festival is Australia’s largest French event attracting more than 40,000 visitors over the three days. The Festival will be held at the South Bank Cultural Forecourt, only a short stroll from ASPIRE’s world class venue – The Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University. Each ASPIRE entrant will receive discounted entry and the opportunity to perform on stage at the Festival. Set times in the ASPIRE schedule will offer our young musicians the opportunity to experience everything French – eat French, drink French, speak French, sing in French, and feel French!
Le Festival Director Betty Moinnet shares her vision for the partnership:“I’m excited to celebrate the passion and warmth of the French culture with our aspiring young musicians. Le Festival will offer students an authentic immersion experience through a diverse range of music, food, education and lifestyle”.
This partnership will offer ASPIRE participants valuable insight into the exchange between cultures – aligning strongly with our philosophy to nurture international connectedness.
